Accounting Clerk, Washtenaw Federal Credit Union, Ypsilanti
Washtenaw Federal Credit Union is seeking an accounting clerk to join our team at our main office in Ypsilanti. The accounting clerk will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to assist with a diverse set of duties based on the right candidate’s skills. Washtenaw Federal Credit Union offers a rich set of benefits and excellent wages. Job duties will include, but not be limited to: General ledger reconciliation; familiarity with settlement of Debit card, ATM and ACH transactions; posting daily journal entries; maintenance of credit union investment tracking; annual escheat submissions; and other duties as required by the CEO and CFO. This position requires at least one year of accounting experience at a financial institution, and a high school diploma. An accounting degree is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills with MS Excel and Word, will possess a passion for learning, and is looking for an institution driven to grow within our community.
