What do I need to join WFCU?
Becoming a member of Washtenaw Federal Credit Union is easy! Membership is available to anyone that lives, works, worships, or attends school in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Visit either of our two branches to fill out an application or get started by completing a member application for a savings account or checking account to expedite the membership process when you come in.

Because we are member owned, our interest is to serving our members. That means we're here to offer you great products with lower rate loans and higher rate savings while keeping your costs down. As a not for profit organization, our goal is to service our members and help you reach your financial goals. When you become a member of WFCU, you have the same rights and privileges as all of our members.
Further, WFCU is federally insured by the National Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) which is backed by the federal government of the United States. Therefore for your account balance is insured for up to $250,000 just like a traditional bank. Please note that balances over $250,000 may also be insured with proper set-up.
